If you order a printed book we also collect the delivery address and a phone number, because a courier cannot deliver without them. In much of the Gulf a reachable phone is what actually gets a parcel to the door. We keep those delivery details for six months after your book is delivered, and then remove them automatically. A record of the order itself (its reference, date, what you ordered and the destination country) is kept for eighteen months because our payment providers require it. Photos are uploaded over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and used solely to create your book: to draw the illustrations, the photo is sent to Google's Gemini service (see Who we share data with). To create and deliver your books, process orders, provide support, and send updates you ask for. We do not sell your data. The book file you buy is personalized to you: nothing extra is printed on its pages, and the file's document properties record the buyer's email and order number, so a copy that gets passed around can still be traced back to the order it came from.لإنشاء كتبك وتسليمها، ومعالجة الطلبات، وتقديم الدعم، وإرسال التحديثات التي تطلبها. لا نبيع بياناتك. وملفّ الكتاب الذي تشتريه مخصّصٌ لك: لا يُطبع على صفحاته أيّ شيء إضافي، وتُسجَّل في خصائص الملف بيانات المشتري ورقم الطلب، حتى يمكن ردّ أيّ نسخةٍ متداولة إلى طلبها الأصلي.
We count visits to our public pages and to the steps of the book designer, so we know which stories families are looking for and where making a book gets difficult. Two tools do this, both running on our own server: Umami, and a small log of our own. Neither sets cookies or stores anything on your device, and neither tracks you across other websites. Together they record the page visited, the referring site, a country and device type, which designer steps were reached and how long each took, and, if a book is made, whether it was finished and paid for. Your connection is turned into a code that changes every day, so a visit cannot be followed into the next day. Nothing you type in the designer is recorded: no names, no story, no photo and no email address. Neither tool sends anything to an advertising network, there is nothing to sell or share, and these records are deleted after 13 months. We deliberately do not measure anything inside a book you have bought: what your family reads is yours alone.نُحصي زيارات صفحاتنا العامة وخطوات مصمّم الكتاب، لنعرف الحكايات التي تبحث عنها العائلات وأين يصعب إنشاء الكتاب. تقوم بذلك أداتان تعملان على خادمنا الخاص: Umami، وسجلٌّ صغير خاصّ بنا. ولا تستخدم أيٌّ منهما ملفات تعريف الارتباط ولا تحفظ شيئًا على جهازك، ولا تتتبّعك عبر المواقع الأخرى. وتسجّلان معًا الصفحة التي زرتها، والموقع الذي أتيت منه، والدولة ونوع الجهاز، وخطوات المصمّم التي بلغتها والوقت الذي استغرقته كلّ خطوة، وإن أُنشئ كتاب، فهل اكتمل ودُفع ثمنه. يتحوّل اتصالك إلى رمزٍ يتغيّر كلّ يوم، فلا يمكن تتبّع زيارتك إلى اليوم التالي. ولا نسجّل شيئًا ممّا تكتبه في المصمّم: لا أسماء ولا قصة ولا صورة ولا بريد إلكتروني. ولا ترسل أيٌّ من الأداتين شيئًا إلى أيّ شبكة إعلانات، ولا يوجد ما يُباع أو يُشارَك، وتُحذف هذه السجلّات بعد 13 شهرًا. وقد اخترنا عن قصد ألّا نقيس أي شيء داخل كتابٍ اشتريته: ما تقرأه عائلتك يخصّها وحدها.
On your first visit we ask whether we may use cookies for analytics and marketing. Nothing is set unless you press Accept. Reject is just as easy, and you can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of our pages. If you accept, measurement tools from our advertising partners, the social networks we advertise on, set cookies on your device and record which of our public pages you visit, when you open the book designer and when you start creating a book. We use this to see which posts and ads bring families to us and to show our ads to people who have visited. From our own server we also tell those partners when you first open the preview of a book you made, with a code that cannot be turned back into the book, your IP address and browser type. If you start or complete a payment, we tell them that too, with a code for the order, the amount, whether the book is digital or printed, and your email address in a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into it, so the purchase can be matched to an ad. Our advertising partners use this information under their own privacy policies and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. They never receive your child’s name, photo or story, or your delivery address, and none of this runs inside a book or on your account page. We keep your choice in a single cookie for 180 days.في زيارتك الأولى نسألك إن كنت تسمح لنا باستخدام ملفات تعريف الارتباط للتحليلات والتسويق. ولا يُوضَع شيء ما لم تضغط «قبول»، وزرّ «رفض» بالسهولة نفسها، ويمكنك تغيير اختيارك في أيّ وقت من «إعدادات ملفات تعريف الارتباط» أسفل صفحاتنا. وإن قبلت، تضع أدوات قياس من شركائنا في الإعلان، وهي الشبكات الاجتماعية التي نُعلن عليها، ملفات تعريف الارتباط على جهازك، وتسجّل الصفحات العامة التي تزورها من موقعنا، وفتحك مصمّم الكتاب، وبدءك إنشاء كتاب. ونستخدم ذلك لنعرف المنشورات والإعلانات التي تجلب العائلات إلينا، ولنعرض إعلاناتنا لمن زارنا. ومن خادمنا نُخبر هؤلاء الشركاء أيضًا حين تفتح معاينة كتابٍ صنعته للمرة الأولى، برمزٍ لا يمكن أن يدلّ على الكتاب، وبعنوان بروتوكول الإنترنت الخاص بك ونوع متصفّحك. وإن بدأت الدفع أو أتممته نُخبرهم بذلك أيضًا، مع رمزٍ للطلب، والمبلغ، وهل الكتاب رقميّ أم مطبوع، وبريدك الإلكتروني بعد تحويله إلى رمزٍ لا يمكن عكسه، كي يُربَط الشراء بالإعلان. ويستخدم شركاؤنا في الإعلان هذه المعلومات وفق سياسات الخصوصية الخاصة بهم، وقد يعالجونها خارج بلدك، بما في ذلك الولايات المتحدة. ولا يتلقّون أبدًا اسم طفلك ولا صورته ولا قصته، ولا عنوان التوصيل، ولا يعمل أيّ من ذلك داخل أيّ كتاب ولا في صفحة حسابك. ونحفظ اختيارك في ملفّ تعريف ارتباط واحد لمدة 180 يومًا.
Your unfinished book stays in your browser. While you use the book designer, it keeps your choices in that browser tab, so reloading the page or going to your inbox for the link we send does not lose them. This copy stays on your device and is deleted when you close the tab or your book starts. Photos are never kept in it.كتابك غير المكتمل يبقى في متصفّحك. أثناء استخدامك مصمّم الكتاب يحتفظ باختياراتك في صفحة المتصفّح هذه، كي لا تضيع إن أعدت تحميل الصفحة أو ذهبت إلى بريدك لفتح الرابط الذي نرسله. وتبقى هذه النسخة على جهازك، وتُحذف حين تغلق الصفحة أو يبدأ إنشاء كتابك. ولا تُحفظ الصور فيها أبدًا.
We use trusted providers for payment, hosting, email, illustration and printing only to deliver your order, under confidentiality. The ones that receive your personal data are named below. For a printed book we also give a courier your name, delivery address and phone number so the parcel can reach you, and the courier tells us when it was delivered. Couriers are outside our control and handle that information under their own terms.نستعين بمزوّدي خدماتٍ موثوقين (للدفع والاستضافة والبريد الإلكتروني والرسم والطباعة) لتنفيذ طلبك فقط، وهم ملزَمون بموجب اتفاقيات سرّية. ونذكر أدناه بالاسم مَن يتلقّى منهم بياناتك الشخصية. وفي حالة الكتاب المطبوع نعطي شركة الشحن اسمك وعنوان التوصيل ورقم هاتفك كي يصلك الطرد، وتُخبرنا الشركة بموعد التسليم. وشركات الشحن خارج سيطرتنا وتتعامل مع هذه المعلومات وفق شروطها الخاصة.
Payments. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Kashier, a payment company based in Egypt. When you pay, Kashier receives what it needs to process the transaction, such as the amount, the currency, and your email address. Your card number goes directly to Kashier over an encrypted connection and never reaches our servers. Kashier may process this information in or outside the country you pay from, as required to complete and safeguard the payment.الدفع. تُعالَج مدفوعات البطاقات عبر مزوّد الدفع لدينا، كاشير، وهي شركة مدفوعات مقرّها مصر. عند الدفع تتلقّى كاشير ما يلزم لمعالجة العملية، مثل المبلغ والعملة وبريدك الإلكتروني. أمّا رقم بطاقتك فيذهب مباشرةً إلى كاشير عبر اتصالٍ مشفّر ولا يصل إلى خوادمنا أبدًا. وقد تعالج كاشير هذه المعلومات داخل البلد الذي تدفع منه أو خارجه بحسب ما يتطلّبه إتمام الدفع وتأمينه.
Illustrations. To write and draw your book we send the details you entered and, only if you added one, the photo to Google's Gemini service. Google processes them on its servers to create the text and pictures for us. Under Google's terms for paid use it does not use them to train its models, and it may keep them for a limited time only to detect misuse.الرسوم. لكتابة كتابك ورسمه نرسل التفاصيل التي أدخلتها، وصورتك إن أضفتها فقط، إلى خدمة جيميني من جوجل، التي تعالجها على خوادمها لتُنشئ لنا النص والرسوم. وبموجب شروط جوجل للاستخدام المدفوع لا تُستخدم هذه البيانات لتدريب نماذجها، وقد تحتفظ بها مدّةً محدودة لكشف إساءة الاستخدام فقط.
Email. Sign in links and emails about your order are sent through Brevo, an email service based in the EU, which receives your email address and the message we send you.البريد الإلكتروني. تُرسَل روابط تسجيل الدخول والرسائل الخاصة بطلبك عبر بريفو، وهي خدمة بريد مقرّها الاتحاد الأوروبي، وتتلقّى عنوان بريدك والرسالة التي نرسلها إليك.
Advertising. Only if you accept analytics and marketing cookies, our advertising partners receive what the section on cookies above describes.الإعلانات. فقط إن قبلت ملفات تعريف الارتباط للتحليلات والتسويق، يتلقّى شركاؤنا في الإعلان ما يصفه قسم ملفات تعريف الارتباط أعلاه.
Hosting. Our website and your books, including any photo while your book is being made, are stored on servers we rent from Hetzner in Finland, in the EU.الاستضافة. يُحفَظ موقعنا وكتبك، ومعها أيّ صورة أثناء إعداد كتابك، على خوادم نستأجرها من هيتزنر في فنلندا، داخل الاتحاد الأوروبي.

One honest limit on deletion. When you ask us to delete your data we remove everything that identifies you: your name, email, phone, delivery address and any photo. What we cannot remove is the bare record that an order happened: its reference, date, what was ordered and the destination country. Our payment providers require us to keep that for eighteen months, and the law allows us to keep it for that purpose. It does not name you, and we do not use it for anything else.حدٌّ واحد صريح على الحذف. عندما تطلب حذف بياناتك نزيل كلّ ما يدلّ عليك: اسمك وبريدك وهاتفك وعنوان التوصيل وأيّ صورة. أمّا ما لا يمكننا إزالته فهو سجلّ حدوث الطلب فقط: رقمه المرجعي وتاريخه وما طُلب وبلد الوجهة. فمزوّدو الدفع لدينا يُلزموننا بحفظه ثمانية عشر شهرًا، ويجيز القانون حفظه لهذا الغرض. وهذا السجلّ لا يذكر اسمك، ولا نستخدمه لأي غرض آخر.
